Hi, neighbor! I'm Alejandro, owner of Andes Stump Grinding. Thanks for taking a minute to learn a little more about us.
I started Andes with a simple goal: provide reliable, straightforward stump grinding without making the process more complicated than it needs to be. We work with homeowners, landscapers, and tree companies throughout Metro Detroit, helping take care of everything from single backyard stumps to ongoing contractor work.
I believe good service comes down to the basics: communicate clearly, give honest upfront pricing, show up when you say you will, and treat every property with respect. No pressure, no unnecessary upselling, just professional stump grinding and a clear explanation of what's included before the work begins.

Safety & underground utilities
We are fully insured and committed to safety in every project we undertake.
Important: Unless clearly marked, Andes Stump Grinding cannot be responsible for any underground irrigation or utilities including but not limited to gas, electric, or cable lines. If you think there may be underground utilities, please let us know immediately.
Before we grind, we contact MISS DIG, Michigan's utility notification system. They find the public gas, electric, water, and communication lines near your stump and flag them. We handle the booking at no cost to you, and the process usually takes up to 3 business days. Our crew comes out once the flags are in place, so we know exactly where it's safe to grind.
Keep in mind that MISS DIG only marks lines owned by utility companies. Private lines such as sprinkler systems, invisible dog fences, landscape lighting, or wiring to a shed or detached garage won't be marked, so please flag them or point them out to us before we start.
